Nora Belblidia is a magazine writer and editor, specializing in profiles that dig into a person’s creative process, and longform narratives that examine subcultures and small worlds. She currently works as a senior editor for Undark Magazine.

Her writing has appeared in Al Jazeera, Columbia Journalism Review, Nobody Zine, and BmoreArt, among others. She has also fact-checked for The Washington Post Magazine, Boston Globe, Longreads, and Discover Magazine.

In her previous lives, Nora has been as a psychedelic guide and research coordinator at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, a pedicabber and waitress in New Orleans, an artist assistant in Los Angeles, and an urban geography student in Montreal.

She takes photos and released The Earth Moved And So Did The River, a collection of poems and photographs taken in Algeria, where her family is from. She lives in Baltimore, MD.
